Penelles GarGar Festival

"Gar Gar" is the sound made by the Great Bustard, an endangered steppe bird, and it is the name chosen for the mural festival in Penelles.

The GarGar festival has turned Penelles into a national reference for Street Art. Three days a year, the festival fills the walls of the town with murals created by graffiti artists from all over the world.

Without a doubt, the town is worthy of a visit!

The Gar Gar is a low-key festival where people stroll peacefully, admiring existing murals and those in the process of creation, with some creativity-related workshops designed for families, and relaxing music setting the atmosphere while enjoying the day with friends.

Restaurant at Camping La Noguera - Sant Llorenç de Montgai

This restaurant is located within a camping site, but don't let that discourage you as it maintains a high level of quality. The service is provided by a very friendly and youthful staff.

Its terrace, situated next to a car-free recreational area, makes it an ideal place to go with children.

Espai Guinovart - Contemporary art - Agramunt

The Espai Guinovart is my favorite place in Agramunt. The building and the work are in perfect harmony. The people who manage the museum convey their enthusiasm for the work with great passion.

Josep Guinovart spent part of the Civil War in the village of his mother, Agramunt, where he lived in a cabin while fleeing from the bombings. This fact links his work significantly to the rural environment and Agramunt.

The building

Convent destroyed by the war, rebuilt by the Devastated Regions organization and converted into a market, it was remodeled in 1990 to house the Espai Guinovart.
